URS has been active in Thailand since the 1970s and established a permanent presence in 1992. Since then the Group has played a major role in a full range of infrastructure, building and industrial projects, from feasibility studies through to detailed design and construction supervision and project management. URS has been involved in many of Thailand’s landmark projects, including Rama 8 Cable Stayed bridge, the Bangkok underground mass transit system, Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Laem Chabang port and numerous developments for the property sector.
